2. Engineered Jacquard Mesh
Have you noticed those subtle, textured patterns woven directly into the fabric of top-tier club jerseys? That's Jacquard mesh. It's incredibly breathable and feels super premium. It's slightly more expensive, but if a corporate client wants to impress their employees for an annual football league, I highly recommend this.
3. Dot-Knit Polyester
If you look closely at the back panels of many professional jerseys, you'll see tiny holes. Dot-knit fabric is strategically placed in high-sweat zones (like the back and underarms) to maximize airflow. We often stitch composite jerseys here at the factory—using solid Dri-Fit for the front and Dot-knit for the back.
4. Spandex Blends for Mobility
Football requires explosive movement. A jersey that doesn't stretch will tear when pulled by a defender. Mixing 5-8% Spandex (Elastane) with polyester gives the jersey that 4-way stretch. It hugs the body (the "athletic fit") but moves seamlessly with the player.

Sublimation uses heat to bond dye directly into polyester fibres. The result is a print that's part of the fabric itself — not sitting on top. You get full-colour, all-over prints with gradients, photos and complex designs — all in a single print.
What is Screen Printing?
Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh stencil onto the fabric surface. It works well for simple designs with flat colours — logos, text, basic graphics. Each colour requires a separate screen, so complex designs get expensive fast.

Screen printing makes sense only for very simple logos on cotton T-shirts — for example, a one-colour logo on plain cotton event T-shirts where cost is the only priority.
